DeleteOh Nancy, thank you for this post. It has indeed been 3 days where silence was so lacking. And with only 3 such days, I'm coming to Sunday feeling dry and shriveled and unfulfilled, although I've lived as close to Him as I could these days.
ReplyDeleteInterior recollection....I think I need to step back from myself and my efforts; to empty my heart of myself and let the Holy Spirit scatter its cheerful beams within me - because my version of inner silence is pretty lousy!
I like the thought of stepping back from MYSELF, and MY efforts. Yes, that is what I need to as well! Thanks!
