Our Grille

'The Grille of a Cloistered Heart is the will of God.  As some monasteries have grillwork through which those in the cloister interact with the world outside, we can have spiritual 'grillwork.'  We can practice seeing and responding to every person and every situation through God's will as revealed to us in Scripture and the teachings of the Church.'

    Wow...this is so profound. I am waiting on your next book. Beautiful and true expression here. I love the idea and practice of "spiritual grillwork." This is a long practice/attempt at "seeing and responding" to everything according to God's will. It is good to know what to aim for even though I mostly botch it up!! Thank you for these insights.
